I seem to have acquired several new folks, thanks to being linked by the ever-lovely bohemea, so I felt like a little state-of-the-Tumblr might be in order.
So, hi! I live in Seattle. I am only online at work — aside from my phone, but that does not lend itself to tumbling — so I am only here in fits and starts. I am marginalia on LJ & Dreamwidth, but what with the internet situation I am there very rarely.
I like coffee, film*, ladies, knitting, books, Vancouver BC, anything by Wong Kar Wai, folk music, white cheddar popcorn, & NPR podcasts. I have two tattoos, an insane family, a MLIS, and no pets. My favorite film is Annie Hall, I just finished rewatching Deadwood, I’m knitting Doctor Who knee socks, and I haven’t read The Hunger Games yet.
* (I see what might be considered a lot of movies for someone who works for a nonprofit and has student loans. But consider this: of the 104 I’ve seen so far this year, 25 were straight-up free. 50 more were at SIFF, where between vouchers, passes, and sneaking in on volunteer shifts I paid about $3 a screening. And I think Piranha is the only movie all year I’ve paid full price for. Related: I despise feeling that I have to justify this.)
Enough of this. It’s Tuesday afternoon. Let’s build a queue! And then see if Tumblr decides to actually post it.
